Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 14, 2025
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Karma3 Labs, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on karma3hq.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy. The Site is a marketing and informational presence for our AI-powered behavioral trust-scoring platform; we use cookies primarily to keep the Site functional and to understand how prospective customers find and navigate it.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device across page views, store lightweight preferences, and measure aggregate usage patterns. We also use related technologies such as local storage for the cookie-notice dismissal state.
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session state, CSRF protection token, cookie-banner dismissal flag | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | UI theme, language preference | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Page-view counts, referral-source tracking, session duration (anonymised; no cross-site profiling) | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Not currently used | N/A |
4. Notice and Choice
We operate under a notice-only consent model for the Site. When you first visit, a cookie notice informs you of our use of cookies. Non-essential analytics cookies may activate upon page load. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time through the cookie banner or by adjusting your browser settings (see Section 7). Your opt-out preference is stored in your browser's local storage and honored on return visits for six months.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
We honor the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") browser signal. If your browser transmits a GPC opt-out, we suppress analytics cookie initialisation regardless of prior banner dismissal state, treating the signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information as required under California (CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), and Oregon (CPA) law.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Analytics cookies on the Site may be set or read by our analytics service provider, which acts as a data processor under a written agreement limiting its use of the data to analytics purposes only. We do not permit third-party marketing cookies or cross-site behavioral advertising tracking on karma3hq.com. Our trust-scoring API product does not use or set cookies on end-user devices of our Customers' platforms.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use our cookie notice banner to dismiss or, via the footer "Cookie preferences" link, to opt out of analytics at any time.
- Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies site-wide; see aboutcookies.org for per-browser instructions.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect basic Site functionality.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect any material change. To ask questions about our use of cookies:
